Read over these instructions before beginning. Do not throw away any equipment or boxes. Your control box styling may differ slightly from what is depicted.
Removing Keypad
Power off the system using the power switch at the bottom-right. If your system does not have a power switch, unplug the power from the wall.

Remove the hex-head screw from the bottom edge of the keypad.
This is the only screw that needs to be removed. Do not remove any screws from the control box (the black metal box the keypad is mounted on).

Remove the “L” shaped bracket by pulling it down off the keypad.

Disconnect the three cables:
DIN Cable - Pull down to remove the cable.
Ethernet Cable - Depress the locking tab and pull out.
Power Cable - Pull out.

Pull cables out through control box hole to access the lock, light, and switch connectors.
*locking style may differ
Disconnect lock, light, and switch cables in cabinet.
*not all cables may be present
Push up on the keypad to remove it from the mount

Unscrew the control box from the wall. Carefully remove the control box, making sure no cables are still connected or snagged.
*total screw count may vary
Mount the new control box to the wall and screw in to place. Use anchors where appropriate.

Reconnect the 3 cables to the datalog (DIN, Power, Ethernet).

Reconnect the cables inside cabinet and reattached to clips.
Cabinet connections to lock and light
Test full functionality of the system by powering it on and requesting a key.
The keypad display should be bright and flicker-free.
Badges and keytags should be quickly recognized when scanned.
Cabinet door(s) should open automatically when a key is requested.
For Biometric systems, the fingerprint reader should quickly recognize when a finger is placed on the reader.
If you received a UPS Return label, located inside the shipping box, the old control box MUST BE RETURNED.
