Installation of New Lock

Hold the new lock in place and install the three Phillips head screws to secure the lock to the cabinet.
Make sure the threaded cam linkage (outlined in red box above) is fully inserted through the back of the lock. It must rest above the internal lock release (black bar).
Reinstall the “acorn” nut on the threaded cam linkage. This only needs to be “hand tight.” When the backup manual lock is actuated, this should move up and down freely.

Push the extra cable lengths inside the control box and clip them in to place.
Power the system on and test the new lock by requesting or returning a key as you normally would. The door should unlatch both electronically and when using the manual backup key.
