Master access is required to rename units.
Log in to the HandyTrac keypad using Master Access.
Select “Administration” in the top right corner.
Select “Change Apt/Unit#”.
Select the unit you wish to rename.
You can search for the unit by using the “Find Apt/Unit#” field to the upper left.
Type in the new unit name using the on-screen keyboard.
Unit names can include Letters, Numbers, Spaces, Periods, and Dashes.
The system will confirm the unit location has been renamed.
On firmware and below, unit names are limited to 10 characters.
On firmware and above, unit names are limited to 20 characters.
