Key Map
The Key Map should only be used for emergency backup and auditing purposes.
The Keymap is located under the Administration section of the website to users with permission.
The Key Map will show you the current state of the keys in the cabinet. It will list all building assignments, unit names, keytags, and hook locations. The Key Map will list every hook location in your system, including extra locations.
The Key Map will update every time your system is used with the most up to date key information. Printed Key Maps will include the following warning:
KeyMap: Confidential WARNING: Data is only valid up to ##/##/#### 12:00PM Keep in SAFE or other SECURE placeBecause Key Maps continuously update, a printed copy quickly becomes obsolete. It should only be used for a limited time for a specific purpose and then shredded.
Keys that are checked out of your system are assigned a random hook on a keymap. The Key Map itself does not show In and Out status.
