Gen10 Replacement

Read over these instructions before beginning. Do not throw away any equipment or boxes. Your control box styling may differ slightly from what is depicted.
Your replacement will not function until a HandyTrac technician loads the database and updates the account. You must contact HandyTrac to complete this process.

Replacing Keypad

    Power off the system using the power switch at the bottom-right. If your system does not have a power switch, unplug the power from the wall. Note: your control box style may differ from what is depicted.
    Remove the hex-head screw from the bottom edge of the keypad.
This is the only screw that needs to be removed. Do not remove any screws from the control box (the black metal box the keypad is mounted on).

    Remove the “L” shaped bracket by pulling it down off the keypad.
    Disconnect the three cables:
    DIN Cable - Pull down to remove the cable.
    Ethernet Cable - Depress the locking tab and pull out.
    Power Cable - Pull out.
    Push Up on the keypad to remove the keypad from the mount.
    Install replacement keypad on the mount by securing it on the bracket.
    Reconnect the 3 cables (DIN, Ethernet, Power).
The vertically connected DIN cable is a stiff connection. Hold the keypad in place with your hand to prevent it being removed from the mount.
    Power the system on and call HandyTrac Technical Support.
Your new system will not function until a HandyTrac Technician uploads the database to the replacement system.

Old equipment must be returned. DO NOT THROW AWAY.
