Login Access Overview
A site login can have access to it's current hierarchy level and all child levels below.
You may be familiar with the feature that allows a property level login to have access to multiple specific properties in a region. This access assignment method works the same at hierarchy levels as well.
The login for each user can be managed by anybody with higher level access, or those at the same level with permission.
Accesses and Restrictions
A login can only have access to sites within the same level.
In the above diagram, you can see that a user at a property level can only have access to properties in the same region.
Likewise, a user at the region level can only have access to regions in the same division.
Each of these would be managed by a higher level user, regional and divisional, respectively.
Adding a Website Login
Corporation, Division, and Region
Under Administration in the menu, select Website Logins
Select the hierarchy location where you want to add a site login then click Add Site Login.
The following information is required:
- First and Last Name
- Access Level Permissions
- Main Contact Yes/No
- Access Locations
Once completed, click Save. The user will be emailed a temporary password.
Permissions
Hierarchy level users have dedicated permission options for managing the hierarchy. By default, all permissions are enabled. If your management structure grows, or you have a policy of "least privileged access", you can disable specific functions for users that do not require them.
As an example, a Divisional manager should have access to all Region reports and Property level functions, but they should not be able to move Regions, as this could affect management by other Divisional managers.
