Account Level Mobile App Push Notifications

Account level mobile app push notifications are for managers and those with website login credentials (email and password). These are configured on a per-login basis, so individual users receive only what they need, when they need it.
Requirements:
An Android or iOS smartphone with the  HandyTrac App  installed.
Property level website login credentials with access to reports and alerts.
App notification permission. On first login, the HandyTrac app will ask for Notification Permission. You must consent to receive notifications on your device. Consent can also be given at a later time in the app Alert Settings.

To Setup Account Notifications in the App

Sign in to the HandyTrac App
Select the Menu Icon in the top left
    Select Alerts from the menu
"My Push Alerts" will be the first section listed where you can enable and configure your alerts.
Push Notification Alerts can also be configured when signed in to a desktop computer in the  Edit Alerts  section.

To Stop Account Notifications

There are multiple ways to disable account level push notifications:
  • Disable all notification types under the Edit Alerts section of the website when signed in on a desktop computer.
  • Disable all notification types under the Site Alerts section of the Mobile App.
  • Uninstall the Mobile App.

Account Notification Types

Keys Out Summaries

Select a time to receive a quick summary count of all keys that are out of the system. This is most useful towards the end of the day so you can quickly see if anything needs to be returned.
Tapping the notification will bring you to the complete Keys Out Report.

Overdue Keys

Set a time limit, in hours, for how long keys can remain checked out. You will receive alerts when employees or vendors do not return keys within that window. This near-real-time notification lets you quickly follow up with employees about possible work delays or misplaced keys.
Overdue Key notifications are grouped in 5 minute intervals to prevent rapid repeat notifications.

No System Communication

You will be notified if your system does not communicate with the HandyTrac servers within a specific timeframe. If your system is not communicating then your key data, reports, and alerts will not be accurate.
HandyTrac will always notify the main property contact via email after 3 days, regardless of any other configured alerts.

Inactive Employees

Select a time period, in days, after which you will be notified about inactive badges in your system. This is helpful as a reminder to remove employees that are either no longer at the property or who do not need access to the system. It is important to periodically audit your active employees list to prevent unauthorized access.

Open Door Alarms

If your cabinet door is opened manually, or if it is left open accidentally after an employee uses the system, an alert will immediately be sent. Not closing the cabinet door is a serious security issue that should be rectified immediately.

Marketing

Enable to receive special deals and promotional information regarding new systems, new features, and possible upgrade opportunities. (Average of 3 notifications per year)

Configuring HandyTrac App Alerts on the Website

These settings are available and mirrored in the HandyTrac Mobile App. To receive these alerts, you must be signed in to the HandyTrac Mobile App.
HandyTrac App Alerts can be configured on the desktop website by signing in to your account and going to Edit Alerts under the Alerts menu.
The HandyTrac App Alerts allow you to receive specific and timely alerts right to your mobile device. Tapping the alert from the notification will bring right to the alert details in the Mobile App.
